Emily Colliss
After a 10-year career in Histopathology, Emily decided to try something new that would fit in around her young family. Her career took a different path, and she undertook a role as a homecare worker at a local agency that provided domiciliary care. During this time, she gained a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and found a passion for domiciliary care, especially end of life care.
In 2017, Emily became the care coordinator for Right at Home, a role that allowed her to see all aspects of care and also encouraged her to become a trainer. In 2018, she became the registered manager for Right at Home. At the same time, she completed a Level 5 Health & Social Care Diploma, which allowed her to enhance and improve the service, and over the last few years she has been passionate about implementing change across the care sector.
