Sanjiv Patel is Chief Executive Officer of Westgate Healthcare, a growing, family-owned care group operating more than 600 beds across London and the Home Counties. Westgate delivers high-quality residential, nursing, dementia, and rehabilitation services. Under Sanjiv’s leadership, the organisation continues to prioritise innovation, enhance care environments, and achieve sustainable growth, while remaining true to its core values: compassionate, committed, collaborative, and credible.

Prior to joining Westgate, Sanjiv trained and practised as a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensive Care doctor at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In 2018, he transitioned from the NHS into social care, building a career that uniquely bridges frontline clinical expertise with strategic leadership across the health and social care sectors.

Outside of his executive role, Sanjiv is actively involved in both charitable and business communities. He serves as a trustee of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice and Spread A Smile Charity, and is Chair of the YPO Greater London chapter.
