Rebecca Bauers
Rebecca Bauers is a dedicated and experienced leader in health and social care regulation, currently serving as the Director for People with a Learning Disability and Autistic People at the Care Quality Commission (CQC). With a strong background in working alongside people with lived experience, Rebecca brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by autistic people and those with a learning disability.
Over the past 18 months, Rebecca has led the Independent Care Education and Treatment Review (ICETR) programme with distinction, enabling individuals to move out of long-term segregation and into environments where they can thrive. Her leadership has brought renewed hope to many and driven meaningful change across the sector.
