Rachel Monteith
Rachel Monteith is a Registration Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), leading a team of inspectors handling a range of applications to register new services or vary conditions of registration. Rachel is responsible for maintaining standards within the Registration space, upholding CQC’s regulatory position for applications and developing new guidance to support applicants with their registration journey.
Her professional background before CQC was NHS management. She joined CQC since 2015, as an inspector of NHS hospitals and private healthcare services, before moving to the Registration team as an inspector, and now manager. She specialises in the legal aspects of registration and internal processes.
