Nathan Jones
Nathan Jones is the Senior Policy and External Affairs Lead at the National Care Forum, joining the organisation in 2019. Nathan is responsible for ensuring the views and concerns of the NCF’s not-for-profit members are heard by parliamentarians and the government as well as ensuring the case is made for a much more ambitious and comprehensive reform of adult social care. He is currently one of the co-chairs of the working group of the APPG on adult social care. He also ensures the NCF’s members are kept up to date with policy and legislative developments, and that other key stakeholders are engaged.
Prior to joining the NCF, Nathan worked in several areas of local government in Coventry, including children’s social care, the local implementation of the Homelessness Reduction Act (2017), digital transformation programmes and events management – all as part of the Local Government Association’s graduate programme. He has also worked for the charity Act Oxford supporting people who are homeless and ex-offenders.
