With 25 years’ experience working in the health and social care sector, Kirsty leads on the curriculum and resource design for all Connect2Care’s health and social care apprenticeships. She tailors the apprenticeships to meet the needs and demands of the sector to ensure the effect is felt by apprentices and employers, creating a positive experience for those using the service. Kirsty has worked in the training industry for many years in a variety of roles and holds qualifications in teaching, learning and development. She has worked in elderly care, elderly mental health, dementia care and supported adults with a learning disability. Kirsty has an interest in how the sector is supported at management levels and is knowledgeable about the lead practitioner and leader in adult care apprenticeship standards, having managed a variety of services.
