Jacqui is a specialist design for sensory and cognitive decline, with a keen eye for colour and detail. She has been a professional member of SBID since 2012 and HomeSmiths’ projects have been shortlisted for a number of design awards. Jacqui is an experienced healthcare designer with a deep understanding of dementia friendly design having completed courses with both Stirling University and Hammond Care. Keen to share her knowledge with the next generation of healthcare designers, Jacqui gives talks to Universities and is regularly asked to speak at events both on and off line. As a volunteer, Jacqui was Chair of Haywards Heath Dementia Friendly Community from September 2018 to 2021.
