Caroline Barker
Caroline has worked with the health and social care sector since she qualified as a solicitor in 2005. She provides regulatory advice to health and social care providers including care homes, children’s homes, home care services and private hospitals.
Much of the work that Caroline does arises out of adverse findings by a provider’s regulator, such as CQC and Ofsted, and therefore the matters are often crisis-driven. Caroline provides carefully crafted advice to help minimise negative outcomes for the provider. She regularly produces articles on sector relevant matter and voices her opinion on the issues facing the sector.
Caroline has an executive MBA which gives her insight into how regulatory matters can impact on the wider commercial issues that providers face.
