Session announcement: How to have supportive grief conversations at work
Join this free CPD session at Care Managers Show Vol. 2 for tips to handle grief in the workplace and support employees who have experienced bereavement.
Do you know how to support a bereaved employee? This free CPD session, led by Faith Holloway from Hospice UK, will prepare you for situations where a colleague informs you that someone close to them has died or been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
In How to have supportive grief conversations at work, you will find out the five principles of expert-level listening, and learn the helpful framework that Hospice UK’s Compassionate Employers programme uses to discuss grief.
During the session, you’ll also get the opportunity to explore real-life examples and skills that you can put to use immediately to improve employee wellbeing.
Who is leading the session?
Faith Holloway is the Compassionate Employers programme lead at Hospice UK. Compassionate Employers is Hospice UK’s workplace wellbeing programme, helping organisations to look after their people and support employees through grief, caring and terminal illness.
Faith has been in this role since 2021, and also has more than eight years’ experience in workplace wellbeing and employee engagement across non-profits such as Save the Children and Jewish Care.
