The agenda for Care Managers Show at NEC Birmingham has two whole streams dedicated to Operational Excellence. Here's a guide to what's happening in each stream, so you can start planning your time at the show.

Operational Excellence 1

In this stream, you'll have the opportunity to hear from CQC about the single assessment framework and ask any questions you may have. CQC are also exhibiting at Care Managers Show, so you can visit their stand during the day if there is anything else you would like to discuss with them.

Also in Operational Excellence 1, we have two sessions led by Hallmark Luxury Care Homes' talent development manager, covering staff training/career progression and how to manage nurses in care homes. In addition, Ebury Court Care Home's registered manager has some top tips to help you deliver outstanding care.

More expert-led sessions in this stream will help you to optimise occupancy and promote health/wellbeing for you and your team.

Operational Excellence 2

This stream features a session all about apprenticeships, which will help you to fully understand their role and make sure you're using them effectively within your setting and wider organisation. 

We've also got some tech-focused sessions in Operational Excellence 2, including a panel discussion on ways to encourage your staff to embrace new technology.

Other sessions in this stream will focus on heart-centred care, worker safety, meaningful visits and more.
